ASCO™ Solenoid Valve Accessories
The last-mile parts that decide whether the valve works: the coil that survives a Zone 1 area, the strainer that keeps the seat clean, the connector that does not let water in — and the rebuild kit that puts a valve back in service instead of replacing it.
Sizing a valve? Estimate flow, pressure drop or Cv/Kv with our free calculator.
Open the Flow Calculator →Most solenoid valve failures in the field are not the valve. They are a particle on the seat, a coil that burned because the enclosure was wrong for the area, or water that got in through a connector. That is why the accessory line matters more than its price suggests: a strainer upstream is cheaper than a shutdown, and the right operator is what makes the same valve legal in a classified area.
The line splits three ways. Operators and coils — the RedHat II families in NEMA types 1 through 9, plus the Ex ones: LPKF in aluminium and WSLPKF in stainless (both flame-proof Ex d, IP66/IP67, NEMA 4/4X) and WBLP in increased safety and encapsulation (Ex e mb), which carries a thermal fuse that drives the valve to its safe position if the coil overheats. Line protection — brass, stainless and plastic strainers, check valves and adjustable flow controls. Electrical — DIN and spade connectors with LED and surge-suppression options, and the timers that cycle a condensate drain on their own.

Rebuild kits
Rebuild kits — quoted by valve number
A rebuild kit brings a solenoid valve back to service: core assembly and plunger, spring, diaphragm, O-rings, seals and the retaining hardware — the parts that actually wear. Rebuilding is normally a fraction of the cost of a new valve, and it keeps the installed base and its approvals untouched.
ASCO™ kits do not have a catalog of their own. Each kit is identified by the valve it rebuilds and by its elastomer — NBR, PTFE or FPM — so there is no list to browse: the kit is derived from the valve. Send us the number and we identify it.
To quote it we need one of these
- ✓ Catalog number of the valve (e.g. 8210G094)
- ✓ Series and model (e.g. Series 210, 3/4")
- ✓ Serial number on the nameplate
- ✓ Elastomer, if you know it (NBR, PTFE, FPM)
